Schotia, which comes from Africa, grows naturally into a 3 to 8 meter high tree and is one of the family members. Between March and June, hundreds of bright, dark red flower clusters form, which appear directly on the trunk and branches. A very robust, easy to care for and rare potted plant, also known as the "drunken parrot tree". The colorful birds like the nectar and it seems to have an intoxicating effect on the parrots. Other nectar birds and bees also love this dripping nectar.
