Mustard is a very undemanding crop and thrives not only in the garden bed but also in the pot on the windowsill or on the balcony.
Generally, a distinction is made between brown, black and white (yellow) seeds. The three differ not only in taste but also in their stature height. Black mustard is the tallest with a stature height of up to 1.80m and is therefore particularly suitable for cultivation in the garden. White mustard, however, is only 30 to 70cm high and can therefore be grown well on the balcony.
