 Radishes are not a dwarf form of the radish, but a closely related but independent species. The most important difference: like kohlrabi, radishes develop in the area of the stem axis between the roots and the leaves, so they are part of the tubers.

We always source the radish seeds fresh from Germany.
Early varieties of radishes that can cope with little light and cool temperatures can be sown in the cold frame or in the greenhouse from late February / early March. You can sow the radish seeds outdoors from March, as soon as the soil is dry and frost-free. The seeds germinate particularly quickly and reliably at temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees Celsius. In the beginning, a film or fleece for protection cannot do any harm.
