This beautiful little shrub or tree is grown for its pretty and fragrant flowers. They are reminiscent of orchids or butterflies. In English the plant is also called "Camel-Foot-Tree" because its leaves have the exact shape of a camel's hoof. The orchid tree bears countless pink flowers in spring and summer and can be cultivated excellently as a container plant. The seeds are optically almost identical Wisteria seeds just a little flatter.
