 The noni tree is known not only for its medicinal properties, but also for its high tolerance to environmental conditions. It can grow in poor soil, both acidic and alkaline. It also grows on rocky, wet and very dry terrain. The noni tree tolerates positions out in the wind and temporarily wet areas, is tolerant of soil salinization.
