Chili seeds can basically be sowed all year round. However, it is recommended to sow in the period from December until the end of March at the latest. Due to the winter light conditions, this often only works with artificial light in December and January. In February and March, the cultivation in Central Europe also succeeds in daylight at a bright window.
 
This chili variety can be over 20 cm long with optimal care.

Chilies are grown commercially only in countries with a hotter climate. But you can also be quite a chili self-catering with us, if you have a reasonably sunny balcony or a garden. Two or three boxes of chili plants are enough to provide yourself and some friends with chiles.
