We always source the Phoenix seeds fresh from Spain.

Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24-48 hours

 Fill small growing pots with perlite or coconut fibers

 Seed soil is less suitable due to the long germination time

 Put one seed per pot in the substrate and moisten it slightly

 Put on a glass lid or cover it with cling film

 Set up in a partially shaded, warm place and keep constantly moist
