Origin: China. Because of its easy growing, the Aster is an excellent summer flower, it is very appreciated for summer discounts, tubs and as Schniitblume. The colorful flowers, which are 4-12 cm in diameter, come in many shapes and attract butterflies. They thrive best in well drained soils in a sunny or slightly shaded location. Mix the fine seeds, possibly with a little sand and hardly cover with soil. Once there is no risk of frost, they can be put in the garden.
